For our recent master suite addition, my husband and I spent several months interviewing various builders and contractors until we felt we had found the right one. After eight or nine encounters with people who just didn’t sit right with us for a number of reasons, Gil clicked with us right away. Even before we began breaking ground, our minds were put at ease and we knew we had made the right decision. Since we decided not to use an architect, choosing instead to design the new addition ourselves, it was very important that we find a builder who would help us with every step of the process, including the design. Gil answered all of our questions, and then some, working with us in person on the pre-construction phase until we came up with something that not only would look great but would also work from a structural standpoint. He also assured us that there would be room for changes along the way, which there always were, and thanks to the open line of communication that was established early on, none of these changes ever created the slightest problem.

Gil exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish. He was there for us whenever we needed him and even though ours was a relatively small project, he always made us feel important. We knew we had his undivided attention as much as we needed it and that truly made all the difference. He would often spend hours at the house making sure that his guys were doing a good job, and that they were working up to his standards as well as ours. If something didn’t look right or if we wanted to make a change, it was never a problem at all. Gil was always incredibly flexible, patient, and willing to listen to our concerns. He’s also very friendly and easy to talk to, making the process that much more painless along the way.

You often hear horror stories about contractors not following through on promises, leaving in the middle of the job, or worse. We never once had a single issue or problem with Gil, and more importantly, it was actually a lot of fun working with him! What could have been a stressful 4 months ended up being a fun, rewarding experience and I can not even begin to say enough wonderful things about the end result. As seamless and stress-free as the process was, the result is even better. Our new master bedroom and bathroom are simply stunning. Without a doubt, the best part of our house!

He is accessible, easy to talk to, incredibly knowledgeable, and always professional.
